Record your parking place in seconds

I Parked Here finds your current location in seconds. No more waiting on slow GPS. The coordinates of you parking place will be automatically saved in seconds. I Parked Here gives you the Skyhook Wireless location system. This means I Parked Here works like an ultra super-fast GPS.

Please note: You must select an Internet Access Point to turn on Skyhook. Skyhook can work indoors and works well in downtown areas.

Maps

I Parked Here was the second third party application to integrate Nokia maps (Near Here was the first). But we also give you Google maps. You get to choose.

When to use Google maps?

When you park in field (at a festival) or in a large carpark (at the airport), Nokia maps will only bring you to the entrance. However, you can use Google maps to bring you back to your parking place within the field or large carpark. Press the "Refresh On" button on the Google maps screen and you will see yourself getting closer to your car.

You can view your parking place on Nokia maps and Google maps using the Skyhook system. Recording your parking place does not require a GPS fix when Skyhook finds your location.

And with turn by turn navigation, you won’t get lost. Turn by turn navigation does not use Skyhook, so you must wait for a GPS fix when using turn by turn navigation.

Will I Parked Here work in a large carpark or field?
I Parked Here will bring you back to your parking place in a large carpark or field, but you must use the Google maps option. Nokia maps will only bring you to the entrance of a large carpark or field. Google maps will bring you all the way back to your car.

How accurate is the Skyhook location system?
The Skyhook location system is almost as accurate as the phones internal GPS. It will bring you back to within 15 meters of your car - at worst. That's close enough to see your car or press your key to locate it.

How much does I Parked Here cost?
I Parked Here can be purchased for as little as three euros.

I can't save my parking place?
I Parked Here will only allow you save your parking place if there is enough disk space available on the phone. Parking places are not saved on memory cards even when the application is installed on a memory card.

Why is the distance to my parking place, sometimes, not calculated?
The distance is only calculated after I Parked Here has found your present location. If you're in an urban area with Skyhook coverage, then your location will be found in seconds. If you're not in an urban area with Skyhook coverage, then your location is found using GPS and this can take a couple of minutes.

Why is it taking longer than a couple of seconds to find my location?
Your location is found within a couple of seconds by using Skyhook Wireless. In order to turn on Skyhook Wireless, you must select an Internet Access Point. You can select an Internet Access Point through the menu. Skyhook Wireless only works in urban areas. You can check a coverage maphere. It shows all areas covered by Skyhook.

How does the trial version work?
The trial version of I Parked Here works exactly like the full version. However, the trial version only lasts five days after you first open the application. You should wait until you've parked your car to open the trial version, this way you'll get to experience how well it works.

I can't install I Parked Here, why?
Sometimes when you download applications, the file can become corrupt, in this case you should download it again. Also, you need to ensure the date is correct on your phone before installation.

The trial version of I Parked Here stopped working, why?
The trial version is valid for five days from the time the application was first opened. Also, the trial version will stop working if you change the date on your phone.

What languages are supported?
I Parked Here currently supports English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. The language used by the application depends on the language used by the phone when the application was installed.
